pair.  Tonight, Rosemary and Laura find themselves knee deep in danger when

Sunday 22 January

Antiques Roadshow    The Roadshow returns for a second week to Norwich
cathedral   6.45pm BBC1

Time Team  At the start of a new series the team head to Glendon Hall in
Northamptonshire and try to uncover the fate of the village church.  5.55pm

Foyles War    This Hastings-based detective looks at Quakers, cattle and
chemical warfare.    9pm ITV1

Beyond Belief    Ernie Rea and guests continue to explore the place of faith

Gay Muslims  Documentary in which gay practicing Muslims explain how they

Film: Witchfinder General  In 1645 the infamous witch-hunter Matthew
|Hopkins roamed the country executing those suspected of witchcraft.

Wednesday 25 January

Choral Evensong  From Birmingham  4pm R3

A Seaside Parish  4/10    In Boscastle the villagers are planning a big food
and craft festival to help put the place back on the tourist map. The young
curates Matt and Alison are at last ordained – but Alison has a few problems
with her first wedding. Christine is back from Thailand and sets about
raising money for the village of the sea-gypsies who live near Phuket which
she wants to ‘twin’ with Boscastle. The Cathedral’s new Chief Executive
Richard Glover says the famous choir must raise £150,000 or face the axe.

A Passion for Churches  Eileen Carter dreamed of uncovering St Piran’s
church in Cornwall, which disappeared beneath drifting sands 200 years ago.

Horizon:  A War on Science  The theory of evolution is under attack from a
controversial idea called intelligent design, an idea that claims to give an
alternative explanation for the origin of life on earth.  This new movement
claims to be scientific but to many it threatens to replace science with
God.  Now some of its most high profile critics are speaking out in an
attempt to halt the movement’s rise and keep religion out of science.   9pm
BBC2
