This is a chance to discuss the management of churchyards with the experts. It is designed for
churchwardens, clergy, those who cut the grass and village parish councillors. Individuals are
welcome too.

Workshops on:
Monuments  The Archdeacon of Cambridge, the Ven John Beer, and letter-cutter Tom Perkins
Grassland  Dr Bob Leaney of Norfolk Wildlife Trust, and David Jordan of the National Trust, Anglesey
Abbey
Trees  Cathy White of East Cambridgeshire District Council, and Kevin Hand, formerly of the Tree
Council

Venue  Witchford Parish Church (parking in school playground)

Please bring a packed lunch.
Depending on numbers, the workshops will be arranged so that everyone is able to get to all three
topics.
There will be a charge of £5 per village group to cover speakers' expenses.
The day is led jointly with the DAC.
