A day of prayer for the Armed Forces

      A special day of prayer has been set aside on Thursday 8th November 2007 for members of the armed services, especially our sailors, soldiers and airmen who are fighting in conflicts far away from home. 

      A special service, open to the public, is to be held in London from 1.00 pm - 1.45 pm at The Guards' Chapel, Wellington Barracks, Birdcage Walk, London. 

      Following refreshments, there will then be an informal time, open to all, of background briefings, worship and prayer from 2.30 pm - 5.30 pm, with a short break at 3.30pm. Military personnel will be wearing working dress and civilians are requested to dress appropriately.
