[Ely Announce] Appointment of Rural Dean - Huntingdon

The Bishop of Ely is pleased to announce the appointment of the Reverend Brian Atling, Priest in Charge of Abbots Ripton, Kings Ripton, Houghton with Wyton as also Rural Dean of Huntingdon to succeed the Reverend Canon Dr Maggie Guite.  The appointment, which is for a period of five years, takes effect immediately.

 

Brian will be commissioned by the Archdeacon of Huntingdon & Wisbech in due course.  A date for the formal Commissioning has not yet been arranged.
