[Ely Announce] The Reverend Professor William Frend - Funeral Details

The Reverend Professor William Frend's funeral will take place on Friday, 12th August at 2 p.m. at St. John's Church, Lt. Wilbraham and will be followed by a private cremation service.

Professor Frend retired into the Ely Diocese in 1990 and has held the Bishop of Ely's Permission to Officiate.  In addition to a distinguished career as an ecclesiastical historian, Prof. Frend was also an active member of the Ely Retired Clergy Association.
