Update your websites for Christmas


The diocese is calling on parishes to update their websites with details of
Christmas services in readiness for a Christian advertising campaign on Q103
Radio.

The diocese is buying airtime on Q103 Radio to play commercial ads produced
by the Churches Advertising Network.  The aim is to target young people in
this area.

In the run up to Christmas listeners will hear secular carols, such as We
wish you a merry Christmas and Deck the Halls, which have been rewritten in
a humorous style to highlight the commercialisation and excessive
consumption at Christmas.

The sound ads, which will invite young listeners to come to their local
church for Christmas, will also alert listeners to the diocesan website and
its links to individual parish websites.
