Celebrate Nicholas Ferrar Day at Little Gidding

Bishop David Stancliffe will lead the annual commemoration on the feast
day of Nicholas Ferrar at Little Gidding on Saturday 3 December at 10.30am.

Come and join the Friends of Little Gidding at this famous little church
in western Cambridgeshire, made holy by the prayers and lives of
Nicholas Ferrar and his family in the seventeenth century, and the focal
point of T S Eliot's last great poem.

David Stancliffe, recently retired Bishop of Salisbury and former Chair
of the Liturgical Commission, will preside at the Festival Eucharist,
and afterwards will give a talk in Ferrar House. The talk is followed by
lunch at the House.

All most welcome!

(If you are planning or hoping to come, it would help the organizers to
know how many to expect for the service and, especially, for lunch.
