**Sixth Annual T S ELIOT FESTIVAL
Little Gidding : Saturday and Sunday 9 and 10 July 2011
*
The Sixth Annual T S Eliot Festival at Little Gidding will take place on
Saturday 9 July and Sunday 10 July 2011.
The Festival is a major literary celebration of the life and work of
Nobel Prize winning writer Thomas Stearns Eliot (1888--1965). Last
year's Festival was an outstanding success, and this year promises to be
at least as good if not even better. We have the usual mix of experts
and enthusiasts, talks, discussions, readings and meals that together
offer the opportunity for festival-goers to share their interests and
enthusiasms amidst the splendid setting of Little Gidding. This year
also features a Saturday evening concert.
Brief details of the weekend are below, and for further details of the
speakers and talks see the programme
<http://www.littlegidding.org.uk/eliotfestival2011/programme>.
Tickets for the weekend are £45 (/early booking discount price of £40
extended to 15 June/); tickets for Saturday or Sunday are £25 per day,
including refreshments and meals as applicable. For booking information
