'The Thread of Salvation in the Book of Ruth'

9.30 am to 4.30 pm

 

 

This Day of Reflection will start with coffee at 9.30am and end after tea at
about 4.30pm on Tuesday 30th June 2009.  The total cost will be £19 per
person including coffee, lunch and tea.

 

'The Thread of Salvation in the Book of Ruth'

 

A short story which contains the experiences of life lived by ordinary
people, then and now.  It has a surprising message for us today.  Please try
to read the four chapters of the book of Ruth before the day.

 

John Sansom is a retired priest who served in the Ely Diocese for thirty
years in Fenland and urban parishes.  His most recent post was in the Ely
Team Ministry.  He is now a priest-vicar at the Cathedral assisting
pastorally and liturgically.  He enjoys relaxing with water-colours and oil
paints.
