A Reality Check with Elijah

9.30 am to 4.30 pm

This day of reflection will start with coffee at 9.30am and end after tea at
about 4.30pm on Friday 25th May 2008.  The total cost will be £18 per person
including coffee, lunch and tea.

 

‘A Reality Check with Elijah’

 

'Elijah was a person just like us'. James 5:17.

 

He was a prophet called by God who responded with commendable faithfulness
and obedience.  Yet, despite his calling and undeniable anointing there was
still a great deal in Elijah's life that God had to sort out.

 

Let his story encourage you and discover that the God of Elijah is your God
too.

 

Bob spent his earlier years in industry and 8 years in physics teaching.
Following ordination, a variety of parish ministries and 8 years as Warden
of the Lee Abbey Christian Community in Devon, he is now Rector of St James
the Great, Bishop's Stortford, Herts.  He is married to Jackie and has 4
daughters and 8 grandchildren.
