>From Contemplation to Action in the

Letter of James

Led by Revd Nick Ladd

Monday 29th October 2007

9.30 am to 4.30 pm

Do you ever feel that your faith is domesticated by the culture of consumerism or suffocated in the atmosphere of materialism? The letter of James connects us with Wisdom that breathes the life into sterile faith: 'As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.' - James 2v26

Revd Nick Ladd - Vicar of St. Barnabas, Cambridge

It will start with the coffee at 9.30am and end after tea at about 4.30pm on Monday 17th September 2007. The total cost will be £17 per person including coffee, lunch and tea.

How to Book

Please send us a cheque for £17 per person payable to Bishop Woodford House, together with the name of the quiet day, your name & address and the names of any other people you wish to book for. If you wish to receive confirmation of your booking please enclose a SAE. If you are booking within 7 days of the Quiet Day please ring us to enquire if there are still places available and, if there are, we will provisionally reserve places for you.
