The Nun Who Nurtured Reggae. Reggae music might never have flourished without the influence of a
Catholic nun in Jamaica. Jonathan Charles tells the story of Sister Mary Ignatius Davies, who ran
the music programme at the Alpha Cottage School for wayward boys in Kingston, Jamaica. 10.30am R4
