Richard Rohr

a two-day Intensive in Norwich on

The Contemplative Mind

Friday 11th and Saturday 12th January 2008

Richard Rohr OFM

Richard is a Franciscan priest and a prolific writer.

He is internationally renowned as a conference leader and speaker on
themes such as peace and justice, ecospirituality, community building
and male spirituality. He is currently the Founding Director of the
Centre for Action and Contemplation in New Mexico.

Non-dual Consciousness

Richard will be speaking on how the retrieval of the older Christian
tradition of contemplation is helping us understand this as a path to
non-dual consciousness – a way of knowing that is not something we do
as much as something we become. He will be helping us uncover the
immense implications of this for our world, our politics, and the
renewal of Christian life. The workshop will include lecture,
spiritual exercises and guided quiet times. The two day programme
will be preceded by a public talk on Thursday evening.

Also Coming to Norwich:

Cynthia Bourgeault is an Episcopal priest and a teacher and writer on
the spiritual life who has worked with contemplative masters such as
Fr Thomas Keating. She will be leading an Intensive in Norwich in May
2008.
