Thursday 4th 	     	10.00 am - 1.00 pm Child Protection Training day for
Clergy

Friday 5th –
Sunday 7th 		Ely Experience - Music & Measure.  A weekend exploring the
development of architectural and 					musical styles from the 10th to 20th
centuries.  With Professor Paul Crossley from the Courtauld 					Institute
of Art, and Dr Arthur Wills, Director of Music Emeritus at Ely. Held at Ely
Cathedral with 					accommodation at Bishop Woodford House. Cost for the
whole weekend is £220 (£100 non-resident).
Saturday 6th  	      	Or, the following events are available at the cost of
£15 each:
					10.00 am Music & Measure - talk by Professor Paul Crossley.
 		 			3:45 pm Music & Measure - talk by Dr Arthur Wills.
		 			7:45 pm Son et Lumière.

Monday 8th –
Tuesday 9th   		9.30 am – 4.00 pm Safeguarding Children.  Led by the
Peterborough Area Child Protection Committee. A two-			day introduction
course to Child Protection. Held in the Peterborough Professional
Development Centre, 				Cottesmore Close, Peterborough. Details and

 Tuesday 9th  		10.00 am - 4.00 pm  Children & Communion: exploring the
place of children in the Eucharistic Community.  				Praxis East Day
Conference led by Colin Buchanan, formerly Bishop of Woolwich and Gill
Ambrose. Held at 			Bar Hill Church. Cost is £20/16 (includes lunch).

Wednesday 10th	7:30 pm  The Future of Affirming Catholicism.   Lecture led
by the Revd Richard Jenkins, director of Affirming 			Catholicism. Held at

Saturday 20th  –
Sunday 21st  		Festival celebrating the 70th anniversary of T.S. Eliot's
visit to Little Gidding.   Including children’s poetry 				programme, a
discussion on the importance of T.S. Eliot today, and reading of the poem
Little Gidding in the 			Church by candlelight.  Weekend concludes with a
special Holy Communion Service, at the church, on 				Sunday at 11.00 am,

Saturday 20th 		9.30 am - 12.00 pm  Child Protection Training day for key
Lay Workers.  A protective ethos session for those 			who need to be brought

Sunday 28th  		An All-Together Better Way weekend retreat.   A weekend of
healing and wholeness. Be open to yourself, to 			each other and to God for
