Hall includes a short religious service conducted by the Bishop of

Remembrance Sunday: The Cenotaph   Live coverage from Whitehall as the Queen
leads the nation in remembering those who have died in action.  The

The History of British Sculpture  Why religious art was destroyed during the

The Early Music Show: Made in Britain: Made in Exeter   Catherine Bott
visits Exeter to explore the musical and literary history of the cathedral.

Padre Skinner’s War    Captain Leslie Skinner was a chaplain in the Second
World War.  Here extracts from his diary are read by his daughter and two
serving chaplains, and are interwoven with the memories of three of his

Priest Idol    A new series following everyday life at St Mary Magdalene in
Lundwood, near Barnsley, a church facing closure due to poor attendance.
Cameras follow the new American priest as he attempts to turn around the

Tuesday 15 November

Long View  Presenter Jonathan Freedland and guests go in search of the past
behind the present, and this week they are expected to look at the issues
surrounding homosexuality and the Church through the story of Abbot Aelrid
of Rievaulx Abbey.  9am R4

Koran and Country: Radio Ramadan For British Muslims an increasingly
important part of Ramadan is the ability to tune in to local religious radio
stations.  Mark Whitaker met some of the radio staff within the 36 Radio
