Parish Child and Vulnerable
Adult Co-ordinators' Network Event
For all child protection/ vulnerable adult
safeguarding co-ordinators
to thank you for the enormous contribution you make!
Saturday, March 19th 2011
10 am - 12 noon
The Cathedral Centre, opposite Ely Cathedral
* Taken on the role of child protection for your parish?
* Wondering what you've let yourself in for?
* Grappling with questions that need answers? This is for you!
Over a leisurely late breakfast, this is your opportunity to meet the
safeguarding team who are available to support the valuable work that
you do.
* A chance to discuss training needs - yours and the parish's
* To meet other co-ordinators - to build networks.
This is an informal event, not a training course, to bring you bang
up-to-date with the latest developments in Criminal Records Bureau (CRB)
checks and other hot issues, and answer any questions you have.
This is the first of what we hope will be an annual event for
co-ordinators, to thank you for the contribution you make to the safety
of children and vulnerable adults in the Diocese, and to find out from
you how we can best support the work that you do.
