[Ely Announce] The Reverend Anthony Bennett

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of the Revd Anthony Bennett who died on the 9th January 2009.  Anthony leaves a widow, Muriel

 

Anthony began his ministry in the Ely diocese as incumbent at Welney, Christchurch and Upwell.  In 1986 Anthony was appointed as Priest in Charge at Coates where he remained until his retirement in 1993.

 

A funeral service will be held at Girton Church, Nottinghamshire on Thursday 22nd January at 12.15 followed by cremation.
