The Ven Robert Dell died on 19th January. He had been Vice-Principal of Ridley Hall (1957-1965), and Vicar of St Andrew's, Chesterton (1966-1973), before becoming Archdeacon of Derby, a post he held until his retirement in 1992. 

He retired to Cambridge, and held permission to officiate.

He is survived by his wife, Molly, and their children.
