[Ely Announce] World Church Day - 5th November 2005

The Bishops have asked that this event be drawn to the attention of as many people as possible.

All parish clergy will have received detailed information through the latest Clergy Mailing, and Canon Fiona Brampton will be sending a further mailing to PCC Secretaries this week. 

This is an all-age event which will take place in the Cathedral, running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Parishes with overseas links have been invited to bring displays. All those attending are invited to bring a packed lunch suitable for sharing. 



The act of worship after lunch will reflect the diversity of the worldwide Church, as well as the various links represented in the Diocese. Parishes are urged to make this day a priority.
