[Ely Announce] Ely website relaunch

The Diocese of Ely website will be re-launched tomorrow, with an 
entirely new design and throughly revised and enhanced content.

The new site will be inaugurated by the Bishop of Ely at 11am tomorrow 
morning, Friday 18 November 2006.

The Diocese was the one of the very first to explore this means of 
communication with the launch of its first website in 1995. The website 
last underwent a major re-design in 1999. This time the change is not 
just cosmetic: a lot more content has been added, and the ability to 
easily add more has been built in.

The new site is designed to make it easier for people who are not active 
in the Church to find out about us and to make contact with their local 
parish church. It will also provide support to the ministry of those 
working in the parishes.
