This year's conference takes place at the Maltings in Ely on Saturday 23rd April.

The theme will be NEW ART IN CHURCHES.

Dr Allan Doig, Chaplain of Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, will talk about commissioning art for the Church.

The stained glass painter, Helen Whitaker, will speak on her recent work at Ely Cathedral, Beverley Minster, and Soham Church.

Mark Cazalet, a figurative painter, will discuss his approach to biblical and devotional imagery in Chelmsford and Manchester Cathedrals.

David Holgate, a sculptor and letter-cutter, will also speak. He has produced figures and inscriptions for Norwich Cathedral.

Registration begins at 9.30 a.m.

The day ends at 4.45 p.m.

Tickets are available at the door, at a cost of £20 (£15 for members of the CHTC and their guests). It promises to be a most worthwhile day.
