Parish of St. Mary the Virgin, Linton

Christian Fellowship and Service

Bellringers - The Linton Guild of Ringers welcomes both experienced ringers and beginners. Bells are rung before the main Sunday service and at a number of weddings throughout the year. Practices take place each Wednesday evening at 7.30 pm. For more details see here.

Choir - The choir leads the singing at Sunday worship (except for the 9.45 am service on the third Sunday, when worship is usually led by a Music Group). Choir practice is every Friday at 7.30 pm, and new voices are always welcome.

The Mothers' Union welcomes all parents to their meetings, which are held on the third Monday of each month, usually at the home of a member. The group has a varied and interesting programme and events are listed in the 'Five Alive' magazine, in the pewsheets and also viewable here. Please contact for more information.

Lunch Club - meets once a month on a Thursday for lunch at a local venue (usually at The Crown Inn). There is generally an invited speaker and time for convivial conversation.

If you have an interest in gardening, you could join the 'Monday Gang', a group which meets each Monday to help keep the Churchyard tidy and neatly mown. So if you have the time or inclination to contribute in one of these ways, we would love to
