Kirchentag May 12th - 16th 2010 in Munich
Kirchentag is one of the gatherings of ordinary Christians in the world and usually takes place every two years in a different German city.
This year from 12th to 16th May in Munich there is an extra Kirchentag bringing together both Protestant and Roman Catholic Christians.
Kirchentag is a vast pick-and-mix phenomenon offering Bible study, music, worship, debate, cultural activities and the opportunity to share with Christians from around the world. Over 200,000 people attended the first ecumenical Kirchentag in Berlin in 2003, including representatives from Ely Diocese.
If anyone would like further information about attending Kirchentag, please contact the Revd Dr John-David Yule (vicar@honeyhill.org) or visit www.kirchentag.org.uk.
