Mission Action Planning

Mission Action Planning was launched in 2008 as a Diocesan-wide initiative. Every parish in the Diocese was asked to prepare its own Mission Action Plan (MAP). A summary of each of the MAPs produced by the parishes can be found in the Mission Action Planning section of the website.

Fresh Expressions

Growing as Disciples

Working with other churches

The Diocese of Ely is a member of Cambridgeshire Ecumenical Council. The Diocesan Ecumenical Adviser's role includes encouraging and advising the parishes of the Diocese of Ely in their mission and ministry in partnership with churches and Christians of other denominations.

New Churches

The Diocese is experiencing huge growth in its population with villages, towns and cities seeing many new houses being built. The New Churches Fund helps the Diocese, along with other churches in the area, provide a place for the community to meet as well as a place to worship.
