To celebrate the 900th anniversary of the Diocese of Ely, young people who have contact with their local church are invited to take part in an exciting new photograph competition.

The categories are;

1. A photo that highlights what I like about my local community

2. A photo that highlights our church's contribution to our local community

3. The photo that best sums up our church youth activities

The Prizes: For the best photo in the entire competition: £100. 1st Prize (in each category) £50. Runner-up Prize (in each category): £20

Entries must be arrive by midnight 1st July 2009. All entries after this date and time will be rejected. All entires must be sent by e-mail to captaindavidwaters@live.com

All photos entered must be taken by a young person aged 11-19. Every entry must also include the name of the entrant, age of photographer, name of church and no more than 150 words to explain the photo in more detail.

Parental permission must be sought by the church if anyone under the age of 16 appears in any photo.
