Bishop William, the Bishop in Vellore writes: ’ From the time I assumed office, I am coming across candidates from our villages who undergo Nursing Training at Scudder Memorial Hospital, Ranipet, and Teachers’ Training at Beattie Memorial Teachers’ Training Institute, Ranipet. A few of them are either orphans or semi-orphans or from families that cannot support their children for their tuition, boarding and lodging, books etc. By supporting this Christmas project you would have the satisfaction of lighting a candle in the life of several girls who will be otherwise socially and economically deprived.
