Travel: work at car sharing, discourage air travel, offer mileage expenses that encourage people not to use cars
- This is a big one for individuals and businesses, but parishes can still help by promoting car sharing, not having meetings too far away etc.

- Buy fuel efficient cars,

- Plan meetings so that journeys are short and can be made by public transport
- Bother to organise car-sharing

- Many people when they have to fly choose to offset their carbon. This is a highly debated practice, but may be better than nothing if you have to fly. One offset scheme you might look at is www.climatestewards.co
