Diocesan Environment Committee
The Diocesan Environment Committee comprises people with environmental expertise and a particular interest in local issues. Their main project is to encourage parishes and deaneries to put the environment on their agenda.
Building on the work already going on in churches, the Committee wants to encourage people to enjoy and care for God's creation. Often people want to do more but are puzzled as exactly how to go about it - this is where our Committee can help, for instance by building up resources.
We particularly want to hear from individuals and churches about their successes and the work they would like to do.
Chair of the group is Robert Skelton: rls1000@cam.ac.uk
