Asylum Seekers
The Board for Church in Society took a keen interest in the running of the Oakington Immigration Reception Centre at Longstanton, near Cambridge. Particular support was offered to families and the distribution of clothing and other needs was organised. The Centre closed in 2010.The Board remains concerned over the plight of asylum seekers. |
